Dr. Mohammad Anwar Hossen is currently employed as a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Comilla University, Bangladesh, a position he has held since June 2021. His career in the teaching profession began in 2002, and university-level teaching commenced in May 2007. Since then, he has been instructing undergraduate and graduate-level courses, including Operations Research, Coordinate Geometry, Calculus, Differential Equations, Mathematical Methods, Mathematical Modeling in Biology, Numerical Analysis, and Linear Programming.
In December 2016, he earned his PhD from the Department of Mathematics at Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. The title of his doctoral dissertation is "Investigation and Formulation of New Models for Deteriorating Items in Crisp and Fuzzy Environments under Inflation."
Mohammad Hossen obtained his B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc. degrees from the Department of Mathematics at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh. During his B.Sc. and M.Sc., his research focused on the estimation of turbulence decay in the final period for incompressible fluids. He has authored twenty-seven publications in different reputable journals. Some of the research conducted during his M.Sc. was presented at the 3rd International Conference on Water and Flood Management (ICWFM-2011), organized by Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
