Nahida Akter is a Lecturer in the Department of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at Comilla University, Bangladesh. She holds both a BSc and an MSc in Engineering (ICT) from Comilla University, where she has built a strong academic foundation in computing and communication technologies.
Her research interests lie at the intersection of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and multimodal machine learning, with a particular focus on developing intelligent systems capable of understanding and integrating information across text, audio, and visual modalities. She is especially interested in advancing low-resource language technologies, including Bangla NLP, to bridge the gap between state-of-the-art AI research and underrepresented linguistic communities.
Nahida is currently preparing for doctoral-level research, aiming to extend her work toward multimodal sentiment analysis and agentic AI systems. She is committed to contributing original, high-impact research to the global AI community while fostering technical excellence among her students at Comilla University.
