He had completed his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from University of Dhaka, and steadily climbed the academic ladder, obtaining Master of Business Administration in Marketing also from University of Dhaka. Heading to Industry 5.0 and despite facing challenges in the era of artificial intelligence (AI), Marketing Management has been transforming into big data analytics and Metaverse. Mehedi has been responding with the changing business model, marketing pattern, and ecosystem of a sustainable business. That is why, he has been studying Master of Business Analytics at Macquarie University in Australia.
Mr. Hasan is an exceptional individual who possesses a strong academic background and a wealth of practical experience in the field of Marketing. His commitment to academic excellence and his passion for research are truly commendable. Throughout his academic journey, he has consistently demonstrated his dedication to advancing knowledge and contributing to the academic community. Mr Hasan’s teaching abilities are exceptional. He has been a dedicated faculty member, crafting comprehensive course curricula, formulating unit outlines, delivering engaging lectures, and assessing students’ performance. His teaching repertoire includes a wide range of courses like Principles of Marketing, Marketing Management, Global Marketing, Business Law, Statistics for Business, Advanced Marketing Research, and Strategic Brand Management. His ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to students has garnered him admiration from both his peers and students.
His professional experience in the industry as a Senior Territory Manager in Corporate Sales and Marketing, and industry research collaboration at M. I. Cement Factory Ltd speaks volumes about his practical insights into marketing and his capability to translate theoretical concepts into real-world applications. Mr. Hasan was also recommended for and gazetted as ‘Ansar and Village Defence Force’ cadre on 30th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS). Despite the civil service, he chose to pursue a career in academia. This blend of academic and industry experience provides him with a unique perspective that enriches his contributions to research and teaching. Mr. Hasan’s research prowess is evident from his impressive publication record. He has authored and co-authored six research publications, spanning various areas of marketing. His contributions to topics such as corporate social responsibility, brand personality, tourists’ attitude toward destinations, employee satisfaction for delivering customer satisfaction in service, customer loyalty, and demand analysis showcase his ability to delve into pertinent issues within the marketing landscape.
Furthermore, Mr. Hasan’s has been pursuing of a Master of Business Analytics at Macquarie University, Australia highlights his dedication to expanding his analytical skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities. This pursuit underscores his commitment to bridging the gap between academia and industry, utilizing advanced tools to enhance marketing strategies. His academic achievements, substantial teaching experience, profound industry insights, and research accomplishments enrich every stakeholders.
Hasan served as a Program Director of the Executive MBA Program at the Department of Marketing of Comilla University in 2012, 2016, and 2018. He also served as a Provost of Kazi Nazrul Islam Hall from 2014 to 2017, the largest residential hall for male students at Comilla University. Besides, he possesses an innovation-based leadership skills, and strong proposition of soft skills. He served as an elected General Secretary of the Comilla University Teachers' Association for couple of years in 2014 and 2017, respectively. He also served the Teachers' Community in other elected positions from 2014 to 2020 as an Executive Member and a Vice-President. Moreover, he served as an elected International Affairs Secretary of The Federation of Bangladesh University Teachers' Association (FBUTA), Bangladesh in 2014, and he served the Federation as an elected Joint-Secretary General for six years from 2015 to 2020. He was the Member Secretary of "University Teachers' Convention" in 2018, ever largest convention held in Bangladesh by FBUTA.
