Md. Nazmul Haq is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Administration at Comilla University, having joined the department in July 2017. He began his faculty career while pursuing an MPA at the School of Public Administration, Zhejiang University (PRC), as an Asian Future Leaders Scholarship recipient. He was a member of the inaugural cohort of the Department of Public Administration at Comilla University.

 

He holds an MSS and a BSS in Public Administration from Comilla University, securing first position in both programs with CGPAs of 3.69 (MSS) and 3.88 (BSS) on a 4.0 scale, and was awarded the Prime Minister’s Gold Medal (2012) as the top student in the Faculty of Social Sciences. He also completed an MSc in Human Rights and Multiculturalism from the University of South-Eastern Norway (2021 cohort).

 

Mr. Haq’s teaching and research focus areas include human rights, governance and public policy. He has published peer-reviewed journal articles on governance and human-rights–policy topics and is actively engaged in research that bridges policy analysis and practice in South Asia and comparative contexts.
