Dr. Mohammad Sayadur Rahaman is corrently working as professor at the Chemistry Department of Comilla University, Bangladesh. He served as chairman of the chemistry department from 2011 to 2022. He also acted as Dean of Faculty of Science in Comilla University during 20-02-2014 to 19-02-2016. Before that he was the proctor of the Comilla University. He was the Founding Director of Institutional Quality Assurance Cell of the University from 2016 to 2018. Prof. Sayadur conducted a good number of research projects on Inorganic, analytical and environmental chemistry research field and organized national and international seminar and conferences. He has a good number of publications in reputed national and international journals. He is also acting as Quality Assurance (QA) professional in higher educational institutes (HEIs) attached with Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC). He is also a professional trainer on self-assessment of academic prgram, curriculum design, pedagogy and assessment matrix. He reviewed more than 14 self-assessment program in different universities of Bangladesh as an academic auditor. He organized more than 80 and national and international programs regarding quality assurance in Comilla University. He is the affiliate member of International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE). Earlier Prof. Rahaman, was the faculty of Fisheries and Marine Resource Technology Discipline of Khulna University, Bangladesh. In that time he also acted assistant director of Khulna University Research Cell. Earlier he earned B.Sc. (Honours), M.Sc. (Thesis), PhD in Chemistry from Jahangirnagar University, Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He also has been awarded M.Phil degree in chemistry from Department of Chemistry, Bangladesh University Science and Technology (BUET), Dhaka, Bangladesh. ,
