Md. Golam Mahmud Pavel is a Lecturer in the Department of Bangla at Comilla University, Bangladesh, where he has been serving since February 2, 2023. He completed both his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and Master of Arts in Bangla from the University of Dhaka, graduating with outstanding academic results (CGPA 3.75 and 3.74 respectively). Prior to his higher education, he achieved GPA 5.00 in both the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations.

His academic interests include Bengali literature, literary criticism, comparative literature, feminist theory, cultural studies, and interdisciplinary literary research. He is particularly interested in exploring issues of gender, identity, society, and power through literary texts. His research focuses on modern Bangla literature and comparative literary studies, with an emphasis on contemporary critical approaches.
