Dr. Md Abdul Majed Patwary is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Comilla University. He received B.Sc. and M.S. from the Department of Chemistry, University of Chittagong in 2006 and 2007, respectively. In 2010-11, he was a National Science and Information & Communication Technology (NSICT) fellow of Bangladesh. In 2011, he joined the Department of Chemistry, Comilla University as a lecturer, and then became an Assistant Professor in 2015. He was a MEXT Scholar at the Optoelectronics Laboratory, Saga University, Saga, Japan from 2017 to 2020 and awarded a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Electronic engineering in 2020. His current research interests include Sputtering and SILAR grown Cu, Zn and Ni oxide thin films to use them in next-generation high-efficiency photovoltaic and optoelectronic devices. He has keen interest in producing energy from waste materials and working with Cumilla City Corporation and Waste technologies, LLC, USA. Dr. Patwary is a member of the American Chemical Society, Materials Research Society, USA, Japanese Society of Applied Physics (JSAP), Japan and Bangladesh Chemical Society. He published about 18 national and international journals and attended around 20 conferences.
