Sharna Mazumder started her career as a lecturer at the Faculty of Social Science in the Department of Economics at Comilla University, Bangladesh. She has completed her M.SS. in Economics and B.SS. in Economics from Comilla University. She secured CGPA-3.92 and CGPA-3.92 on a scale of 4 in master and bachelor degree respectively. She placed at first position in both these academic spheres and achieved “Prime Minister Gold Medal” as faculty first from faculty of Social Science of Comilla University. She also achieved "Dean Award". She is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the same department. Sharna Mazumder actively contributes to academic activities, student advisement, and curriculum development. Sharna conducted several workshops and trainings on application of Stata, R, EViews and Python. Sharna has many years of experience in teaching and has taught undergraduate courses as well as post-graduate courses. She completed research work funded by Comilla University Research Grant and also serves as research report supervisors for graduate students. As a faculty member, her research interests primarily lie in the fields of education, international trade, public economics, urban economics and economics of growth and development.
