Tarin Binte Enam is a committed, enthusiastic teacher, and facilitator in the Department of English at Comilla University, where she has been serving since 2021. Before this position, she taught at Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) in Dhaka and Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology (BAIUST) in Comilla Cantonment for over five years. She holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in English from Comilla University with a distinguished result. She earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A. Hons.) in English from the same institution. Ms. Tarin Binte Enam actively contributes to academic activities, student advisement, and curriculum development.
Her research interests include Postcolonial Studies, Cultural Studies, Gender Studies, South Asian Literature, and Media Studies. She has published research papers in academic journals and is currently involved in multiple ongoing research projects that address subjects like gender bias, cultural hegemony, and ecofeminism. She is an enthusiastic participant in academic seminars, conferences, and workshops. In addition to her academic role, she is currently serving as the 'Student Advisor' of the department and as a 'House Tutor' at the female student residence hall, 'Nawab Faizunnessa Chowdhurani Hall', Comilla University. She is also actively engaged in extracurricular leadership roles in the students' cultural and volunteer clubs at the university.
